Gaia Amazonas supports the sustainable management of this singular biocultural diverse region by facilitating and enabling effective and efficient environmental governance systems and setting adequate legal frameworks in place.
Where we do it
Since the 70's we work with the indigenous communities of the Southeast of Colombia, located in the departments of Amazonas through the organizations and the limit south of Guanía, strengthening indigenous governance and therefore strengthening its local processes.
